Our Collars & Leads

All of our collars & leads are handmade in our little shop, nestled away in the small market Town of Snaith, Yorkshire.

We only use genuine BioThane®️ which comes in an amazing range of colours & widths, allowing you to get a personal and unique collar or lead just for your pup!

All of our hardware which we use for the Buckles, D Ring's, O Ring's, any Rivets & Screws are all either solid brass (for the Gold finish), stainless steel or nickel plated brass (for the Silver finish), to ensure the finest quality, durability and finish.

About BioThane®️

BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and weldable.

Is BioThane®️ like Leather?

BioThane® is more durable, cleanable, stronger and easier to maintain than leather. It is also readily available in different colors.

Benefits of BioThane®️

BioThane® is stinkproof - so great for dogs that like to get wet! - It is also wipe clean, so great for "Muddy Puddle Splashing"!

Under normal use, BioThane® will long outlast leather and nylon.

BioThane remains flexible and durable in cold weather.

Cleaning

Warm water and soap usually work well. You also can dab with a small amount of rubbing alcohol, for tougher marks.

Using Insect Repellents

Insect repellents may cause staining or pitting on TPU/PVC coated belts and leather products. Many insect repellents use DEET as an active ingredient which will pit/stain Polyurethane products -check your brand packaging for this information.

An alternative would be to use an all-natural/organic insect repellent.

We have a range of colours & styles - design your own!

Choose your BioThane®️ colours, style of collar & hardware (Brass or Silver) - the brass complements the more earthy & natural tones and the silver the brighter and stronger colours - but it is entirely up to you!

Additional Information & Safety

Checks - Although BioThane is extremely strong, durable and water resistant, it is not indestructible. We recommend inspecting your items before each use and replace items that are showing any signs of wear and tear.

Preventable Damage - Our products are very strong, but will not withstand being chewed by a dog, therefore we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by chewing.

Topical Treatments - Please note that some topical treatments used on your pet (e.g tick and flea spot on/collars & other treatments which contain DEET) may cause discolouration & damage to the BioThane, and therefore recommend keeping this in mind if you do use these products, or alternatively use natural remedies for Flea and Tick Treatments.

Safety - We recommend removing collars when your dog is left alone to prevent any injuries.

Cleaning - For light soiling, use a damp cloth to wipe clean. For heavy soiling, use a mild soap with warm water to wipe clean, you also can dab with a small amount of rubbing alcohol, leave to air dry.
